Advocacy Book Club is sponsored by Wisconsin Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (WITESOL). It’s open to all WITESOL members and also to other interested individuals. We read professional books that are related to advocacy and professional development for teachers of multilingual learners of English (MLEs) and their families. Members of the book club are K-12 teachers, teachers in higher education, CESA coordinators, WIDA staff members, and other professional educators or administrators. There is room in the book club for you! Book club meets once a month during the school year (September – May) via Zoom. If you are interested in joining the club, please email witesolboard@gmail.com and include Advocacy Book Club in the subject line.
